Not to repeat the same subject, but I’ve been doing a lot of studying of automotive photography as well has had some changes done to my WRX, so I decided it was time to go out and take some photos of the car again. I think these turned-out MUCH better than my first shoot, and I look forward to shooting more cars!
I did some location scouting ahead of time and found a couple of different places to take photos. Here is a photo from the first location:
And the rest of the photos are from this location which I had much better access to as it was a public parking lot:
This last one was pretty fun to do as I had to balance the light from the sun reflecting off of the car with flash to light-up the back of the car. Normally a photo like this would just show a bright beam of sunlight and the car would be dark without many details.. not so with this photo!
